Short answer
Autoboeker has no separate draft status in the ledger. A processed booking goes to Exact Online, Twinfield, SnelStart or e-Boekhouden as final. If you want to review first, keep the document in Autoboeker: with a confidence threshold, with review, or with approval before booking. After processing you can still change the booking in Autoboeker; in Exact Online, Twinfield and SnelStart that change is written back.
Key takeaways
- Processing is final; there is no draft booking in the ledger.
- You review in Autoboeker before you click Process.
- Approval before booking and a confidence threshold are the two ways to look first.
- You can edit after processing; in e-Boekhouden you adjust the ledger yourself.
- Reprocessing is not a draft flow, it is a correction of an existing booking.
Can Autoboeker book as a draft to Twinfield or Exact?
No. A processed booking goes into the ledger as final. There is no switch for draft or provisional. That is the answer if you want to send invoices as drafts to review them later.
Review belongs before booking. Set the confidence threshold so Autoboeker only books what you trust, or use approval before booking so a client or colleague approves first.
How do I review before the booking is in the ledger?
Three routes keep the document in Autoboeker until you or the client agrees.
| Route | What happens | When |
|---|---|---|
| No automation rule | Every document waits until someone chooses Process | Start, or administrations you do not trust yet |
| Confidence threshold | Only above the threshold does Autoboeker continue on its own | When the AI already knows the supplier |
| Approval before booking | The client or a colleague approves in the portal; only then process | When the client wants to see the invoice first |
What if I want to change something after processing?
After processing you change or delete the booking in Autoboeker. In Exact Online, Twinfield and SnelStart that change is written back. In e-Boekhouden the old booking stays in the ledger; you delete it there by hand.
Deleted processed bookings go to the Autoboeker bin (status In progress) and can be restored. You cannot switch purchase and sales after processing; then you delete and queue the document again.
Does a draft I have not processed count as a booking?
No. Only a processed booking that is final in the ledger counts towards the 200 included bookings and then €0.20. A waiting proposal, a document in review or an invoice waiting for approval does not count.
FAQ
Questions about this topic.
No. Processing is final. Review in Autoboeker, or use approval before booking.
No. Reprocessing changes a booking that is already in the ledger (Exact Online, Twinfield, SnelStart).
Yes. Then the booking is already in the ledger and the client approves afterwards. That is not a draft, it is an approval step after the fact.
The ledger is the source of the administration. Autoboeker avoids a second truth by writing only final bookings.
