Our story
Born from a problem we felt every day.

At Boekhoudvriend, the AI-native bookkeeping firm within the Autus group, bookkeepers and tax advisers process the administrations of hundreds of entrepreneurs every day. There we saw how much time went into entering, investigating and chasing, while the real work only starts after that.
The pressure on firms keeps growing: staff shortages, rising client expectations and increasingly complex administrations. Existing tools helped scan invoices but left the thinking and the follow-up to the team. So we built it ourselves: a platform that understands documents, matches bank transactions, sends client questions and books within the firm's boundaries.
Because Autoboeker runs in a real firm every day, we test new features on our own administrations first. That way we know what we build works in the practice of accountants and bookkeepers, not just in a demo.
