Short answer
Yes, for Exact Online administrations Autoboeker has a Payments module. You select open supplier payments, Exact creates a SEPA bank file and Autoboeker fetches it so you can download it. Autoboeker does not execute payments: you always approve at the bank, unless Exact already sent the file to the bank through PSD2.
Key takeaways
- Only for Exact Online administrations and the administrator role.
- Exact creates the SEPA file; Autoboeker fetches and shows it.
- Payments without IBAN, with zero or negative amounts or in non-euro currency cannot be selected.
- With ABN AMRO via Exact PSD2 the file is already at the bank: do not upload again.
What does the Payments module do?
It fetches open supplier payments from Exact Online, lets you select them and turns them into a SEPA bank file created by Exact. It is visible only for Exact Online administrations and administrators.
How do you create a payment batch?
Synchronise first so you see the current state in Exact.
- 1Click Synchronise.
- 2Filter by type, date, own account or currency, or search by name, reference or IBAN.
- 3Tick the payments; the bar shows count and total.
- 4Click Process and confirm the total.
- 5Autoboeker sends the selection to Exact and fetches the new bank file.
- 6Download the file and approve the payments at your bank.
Why can't I select a payment?
A disabled checkbox always has a reason, shown in the tooltip.
| Cause | Fix |
|---|---|
| No IBAN on the supplier | Click Add account and link an IBAN |
| Zero or negative amount | Negative amounts cannot go in a SEPA batch |
| Currency is not euro | SEPA supports euro only |
| Own account is not the current account | Use the IBAN of the company's bank account |
Do I still upload the file to the bank?
With ABN AMRO and Exact PSD2, Exact already sends the file to the bank; do not upload again and check in Exact under Payments. Otherwise download the file and upload it in your banking environment. Approval always happens at the bank.
