A booking proposal is a draft entry that is ready before it is finally recorded. It contains the contact, invoice date, amounts, general ledger account, VAT code and possibly a cost centre or project. In an AI booking proposal, a model fills in those fields based on the content of the document, previous entries in the same administration and agreements that have been recorded.
For a firm, the proposal is the difference between data entry and review. An employee no longer fills in every field, but checks whether the proposal is correct.
